Since Monday was a holiday, I had nothing planned, so I took advantage of this and in the morning I spent about an hour at the beach and then spent the afternoon and evening with the Tim Boyd family.   I took a few pictures of the Atlantic ocean and I really enjoyed relaxing and reading a book.

I was reminded of the beautiful world that God created.

As I was watching the waves roll in, the last verse to the song, “The Love of God” came to my mind:

“Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.”

Refrain:
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.”

How wonderful God’s love to us.

I also really enjoyed having an evening of fellowship with the Boyd family.  Even though I lost at Phase 10,  almost every game of Skip-Bo and 3 times at Clue, we had a blast laughing and talking and just maxing and relaxing :) .  Sorry I didn’t have my camera with me.

Trust you had a blessed Memorial Day and thanked God for the freedom we have in America.  Also I trust you thought about those who serve or have served in the military and thanked them for their great sacrifice.

“Memorial Day is a day of remembrance to honor the fallen heroes who fought for our freedom but never came home to enjoy that freedom themselves, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for others. It is a time not only to honor those who died, but also a time to remember those who lived, but came home wounded in body, mind and spirit. And it is a day to remember those who continue to serve this magnificent country and ensure the freedom that we enjoy each and every day. Memorial Day is also a time to remember that our freedom is never free, and that much was given up for what we have today. “   Shannon White

Saturday afternoon I drove to Orlando from Hobe Sound to be with Rev. and Mrs. Tom Bickert.  The Bickert’s pastor the God’s Missionary Church there in Orlando.  I had a nice time of fellowship with them and Sunday AM I was able to speak to their congregation about the work in Romania.  The people were so attentive and receptive and I enjoyed being there.  The church building is beautifully built and I thought I would share a few pictures I took of the building.  Thank you again Bro. & Sis. Bickert for your wonderful hospitality.

Hello World!  I am still alive.  Today I flew from Cincinnati to Atlanta and then Atlanta to West Palm.  Just a short time ago I arrived in Hobe Sound and I thought you might want to know where I am :) .

Wendy Hickman met me at the airport and I made sure everything was taken care of for my arrival and I am trying to get settled in.  I will be here until next Friday and then I fly to the Cayman Islands for some missionary services.   I had a good flight and the Lord gave traveling mercies.   I have been very busy during the past month having deputation services.  Lord willing in the next few days I will put up my schedule so you know where I will be and how you can pray.

Just wanted to leave a short note here to let you know I am still alive :) . Thank you so much for praying for me during deputation.  God has given His strength and help in a wonderful way.
