My second Sunday back, the youth group and I, along with Pastor Iovan visited a larger church in Oradea, where we ministered in song and poems. After the service they had a nice snack prepared for us. It was good to be back with the group and to enjoy fellowship with them.

Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches they prepared for us.

We had a nice time together.

When I left for America, the orphans asked me to bring them one thing, the big lollipops that hardly fit in their mouths
. The Hausman’s were so kind to send these lollipops for the kids and they were so happy to receive them. You can tell by the pictures that they enjoyed every lick.

How do you like our colored tongues?

Tibi couldn’t decided which one he wanted

Hello from Romania! It has been a steady few weeks since I have been back. Thank the Lord for His strength and help. It took me a little longer to get adjusted to the change of clock this time around, but now I’m doing just fine. It has been such a joy to be with the children and to spend time with the teens and I am so happy to be back. My first week back, the 5 youngest needed some school clothes, so I was able to take them into Oradea. We had a great time shopping and going to the zoo. Here are a few pictures from that trip to the city

They have all grown up so much in the last 4 months

The bears were playing amongst themselves and the kids thought they were fighting, so you will notice their faces and the distance from the cage

Marius was happy about seeing the lions

In the car on the way home after a fun day in the city
Just a quick note to let you know that I have arrived safely. Thank you for your prayers! Saw the kids, unpacked some and now will be on my way to bed

Well today I fly back to Romania, but I am not spending the day packing, today I am sitting in the hospital waiting for my grandmother to come back from her cat scan of the brain. Today gram was supposed to have surgery to attempt to remove kidney stones and also to replace the kidney stent that was put in place in June.
However, this morning, before the procedure my gram’s blood pressure went sky high and they canceled the surgery. Gram was complaining of headaches, and numbness in her face and they are concerned she had another stroke due to her increase blood pressure.
We are not sure why her blood pressure went so high, (possibly just from the stress of surgery) but at almost 92 (she will celebrate her birthday in December), there is always the possibility of complications. Gram is stable now and her blood pressure has lowered, but they are keeping her at the hospital, at least this evening for observation.
This is not the way that I wanted things to be upon my return to Romania, but God understands and He knows why things happened as they did. I will be leaving without my gram’s procedure being done.
My sister Cindy will be driving me to JFK this evening (we will be leaving at 3 P.M., directly from the hospital) and my flight leaves just a little after 8 P.M. EST.
I would appreciate your prayers for my grandmother, that God would touch her and also pray for my mom as she cares for my grandmother on a daily basis, that God would give her the strength and help she needs during this time.
I also would ask you to pray that I will have a safe journey back to Romania and that God would keep His hand on me as I travel.
Thank you and God bless!
