Saturday we finally started enjoying some nice warmer weather. The kid took advantage of this weather and played outside.
Alexandra tried skating but of course she figured the grass was softer if she somehow fell
Almost all of them wanting to roller blade. (pictures are from the balcony)
Razvan was a little tired
He wasn’t the only one, but at least Tibi and Ionel decided to rest in the grass

Last week I decided to try to make soft pretzels for the first time in my life
. I thought it would be something fun the kids and I could together. So here are a few pictures of our flour filled fun time
Part of the crew working hard and trying to figure out what shapes they wanted to make
Larisa and Alexandra had their own table to work at
The kids came up with all kinds of ideas….notice the N and D for Neli and Denisa
I was surprised how much Tibi enjoyed making pretzels
He even made a heart (I wonder who that’s for?)
I guess you can tell Razvan was enjoying himself
The big room at the center has a bit of a problem when it comes to acoustics and for some time we have been trying to find a solution to this problem. Not just anything could be used to help because we play volleyball and other games where the ceiling is hit frequently. I finally was able to purchase some sound absorbing squares to put on parts of the ceiling.
First special glue had to be applied to the ceiling
Then each tile was put in place
42 tiles were applied to the ceiling and the plan is to purchase 28 more

Ionel and Alexandra love to play the keyboard (notice the songbook, Alexandra needed a songbook to play from
)
Larisa trying to put the cards in order.

Well I’m sure most of you have heard about the chaos that the volcano in southern Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull glacier has caused. Well it has even affected us here in Romania. The ash cloud is moving across northern and north-western Romania (that’s where we are located) with diminished concentration.
“xinhuanet.com” The volcano in southern Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull glacier sends ash into the air Friday, April 16, 2010.
At least until Sunday 9 p.m., there is no risk of the ash covering the ground or contaminating the air, Sunday evening there will be another update. There are not any special protection measures at this time and the cloud does not yet pose a risk to public health and we are praying that it will continue to stay that way.
Just thought I would let you know what is going on here. Have a blessed Sunday!
